Way back in February 2020, Donald Trump knew COVID-19 was deadlier than the flu before it hit the country but he deliberately played it down, according to Bob Woodward who interviewed him 18 times from December to July. Trump said he had wanted to avoid causing public panic.

More than 260,000 Americans have died till date (November 25, 2020) from COVID since the beginning of the pandemic.
